I'm an editorial photographer based in Toronto, Canada. Photographic Cultural Anthropologist. Studying, documenting and expressing our culture through photography.

During my maiden trip to Vancouver I was able to hang out with my childhood friend and dear brother, Andre. We literally haven’t seen each other in 7 years(I know this since we determined he’s never seen my locks) and honestly it didn’t seem like a day has passed.  When I first arrived to his place my eyes locked on to the old cameras he had, I’m here in my head thinking ‘amazing’ I get to play with one of these cameras. He had 3 of them and the Fujica ST701 was the one intrigued me the most. He had no idea if it worked nor did I but when to the local drugstore (big up London Drugstore, great people there!) I picked up a roll of B&W film and walked with the camera as much I could. I haven’t shot a portrait of Andre ever so what a great chance I had here coupled with the fact brother’s fashion was tight as a M-F. Sidenote: Dre was rocking skinny jeans back in 97 when I lived in Montreal. I think that’s pre Pharell right? Anyways without a light meter I rocked out some photos of Dre while we were walking the streets of downtown Vancouver. Take a look at the complete set by clicking the photograph.
